Brian's experience in physical therapy began as a patient. Sparking his interest in the field, he worked as a personal trainer and as a physical therapy aide while completing his Bachelor of Science degree. He received his degree in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Exercise Science from California State University Long Beach in 2004. While at CSULB, he participated in Biomechanics research utilizing motion capture software to analyze gait and force production during normal ambulation as well as assist in teaching Motor Learning and Control. In 2007, he received his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Mount Saint Mary's College in Los Angeles. While attending MSMC, Brian participated in mentoring and assistant teaching in the orthopedic curriculum. He and his colleagues developed and carried out a pilot study to observe the effects of thoracic spine manipulation on low back pain and neural mobility.
Brian is also skilled in the assessment and casting for foot orthotics to help support or correct foot mechanics. His treatment approach utilizes manual therapy with a progression of functional exercises to restore his patients to their prior level of function allowing them to return to daily activities work duties and/or sport participation.
Brian takes time educating his patients with regards to their diagnosis, prognosis and treatment plan providing personalized beneficial outcomes for them.
Brian and his wife live in Fountain Valley. They are avid sports fans and enjoy attending hockey, football, basketball and motorcross events. In his free time Brian enjoys working on cars and riding his dirt bike.
